Rianta Winter Exhibition cordially extends it's Invitation to you

Here is our Cavan Arts Website listing - along with some other great local events. I love living in Cavan! There's always something great to do if you're bored with general going out-pub,movies,nightclub,dinner etc. It's not a place you can feel bored or underwhelmed in, honestly I am happier here than when I lived in the capital. Plenty of scope to get involved in the Arts in Cavan too, if you are creative & interested, or interesting!

It was a lovely night. Myself and Stuart enjoyed it. Stopped by the Moth quickly with Freda on the way home, was a little shy of inflicting a five minute portrait created by moi on anyone though, so waited until I got home then drew the life parter.

‘The Moth Draws a Crowd’
The Moth Studio artists will be drawing a crowd, producing 5-minute portraits of the townsfolk of Cavan on the evening of 21st September. There will also be an exhibition of the Moth Studio artists’ work.

Creative Initiatives 2012

Cavan institute Creative Initiative Exibition 2012 took place in Jacksons Showrooms Farnham Street Cavan from Friday 27th April to Thursday 3rd May excluding Sunday 29th April

Some photo's from the readying, and the exhibition itself.

We left unfinished works upstairs,to be discovered.

I got to invigilate for it over the weekend, it was lovely to see someone stand in front of my paintings and exclaim how much they liked them-with me incognito (hiding behind a painting book), got a real appreciation for how much my art is enjoyed.
